Hi @MajoGro,

Thanks for introducing yourself.

I’m impressed that you are learning whilst the kids are asleep.

I suggest looking through: Solidity learning resources.

As a Windows users I suggest looking at Windows Subsystem for Linux 2 (WSL2) as much of the ecosystem is developed for and tested with Linux.

Hi,
no way. Now, however, I am embarrassed to waste your time with a typo.
Thanks for helping me out.
Now I studying a Ethereum learning resources to learn the basics.

Hi @MajoGro,

Typos happen.
The ecosystem is still very early, so it isn’t always easy to see what is causing a problem.

Hi there! I’m a developer from Brazil, still a blockchain rookie, trying out some ideas and fun contract experiments. See you around!

Hi there! My name is Oleg Abrosimov. I’m from Novosibirsk, Russia and I’m CEO of the ethereumico.io where we are using openzeppelin contracts a lot. I expect to find new brilliant ideas for smart contracts here. Hope to share my own (maybe not so brilliant though  )

Hi. My name’s Brian. I’m from Ireland. Became obsessed with blockchain/decentralization in college, where my thesis involved blockchain research and creating a dApp on Ethereum. It was a lot of fun and a great learning experience. I recently graduated, and since then I’ve been trying to learn as much as possible with a view to getting a job in the industry. I came to learn :slightly_smiling_face:.

Hi @olegabr,

Welcome to the community
I wasn’t able to access your website, I got: ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

Depending on the services that you offer, you may want to look at OpenZeppelin Defender to automate your Ethereum operations: https://openzeppelin.com/defender/

Hi Brian (@Crisco),

Welcome to the community

You could share your coding journey with the community using the #coding-journey tag

You can also check out Solidity learning resources, feel free to edit/update/add to these.

Answering questions in the forum is a great way to learn.

If you haven’t already, I recommend trying out upgrading via OpenZeppelin Defender (Defender is free to sign up).

Would you mind sharing what you are building?

hey everyone! My names Joey Iny & I’ve been working as a music producer for some time now. I’ve been aware of blockchain and NFT since 2017 (cryptokitties!) but for some reason this year it just clicked. I’m working on a music NFT project with PVLACE from 808 mafia and I’m super excited to launch it and get it off the ground.

Also excited to get to know you all, looks like an awesome community

Hi @joey,

Welcome to the community  and thanks for introducing yourself .

Good luck for your music NFT project. Much of the focus has been on static and now dynamic images. It will be great to see other media using NFTs. Also on getting wallet support for other media.

Are you creating NFTs on existing marketplaces or creating your own marketplace?

we’re creating our own kind of baby marketplace but it will be compatible with OpenSea

A post was split to a new topic: Error on remix

Hi everyone!

Glad to be here. I have been super curious as to how to get started. What are the forum’s recommended Tutorials for an absolute beginner. I have used ETH, but never as a dev.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @blocklocc_run,

Welcome to the community

I recommend starting with the Contracts Wizard and creating and deploying ERC20 and ERC721 tokens locally using Remix: https://docs.openzeppelin.com/contracts/4.x/wizard

From there you can follow the OpenZeppelin Learn guides: https://docs.openzeppelin.com/learn/
