There are 2 different types of wallet names, first one is a label etherscan gives to a wallet (which is why you see a lot of exchanges labelled).
The 2nd is using ENS (ethereum name service) this last one is registers a name with a wallet address, these are also read and displayed on etherscan if you link your profile.
ENS is the system you should use in this case.
