Need guidance on how to use Defender 2.0 + hardhat-ignition + ERC-2535 + Create2

We need to manage and deploy a somewhat complex combination of proxy factories and ERC-2535 Diamond Standard contracts over multiple chains, deployed via create2. We are using hardhat-deploy right now but would like to switch to hardhat-ignition and Defender 2.0.

So I am looking for general guidance if this is possible now, and if so, how to go about it.

You can consider using the Hardhat Upgrades plugin with Defender, which works for both upgradeable and non-upgradeable contracts. However, it does not support hardhat-ignition at the moment, only regular Hardhat.
