That would be epic! A real test for ZeppelinOS.
Epic progress on Ethernaut. Happy to see the project getting attention it deserves. Let’s make it even better. @martriay Can you add me as contribution? I would love to review PR and I’ll make one level of my own.
Of course, glad to see you joining the Ethernaut team! I just sent you the invite
Here’s the project’s board to keep track of the progress
@frederickalcantara I just added two of your issues to the To do
column:
Just saw that a few minutes ago, I’ll get this going.
Hi all, what a nice thing is going on here.
When I was playing ethernaut I did it locally because it was faster to deploy and attack using truffle and ganache, the thing is I had to install solidity 0.4.18 and an old version of truffle so I can make it work and compile… If the new ethernaut upgrades to solidity 0.5 but some levels stay in 0.4, could this be a problem if someone decides to run it locally like I did? How crazy is to think about leaving this ethernaut as it is and create ethernaut 2 with solidity 0.5, zos and all the improvements?
And also, if levels like fal1out are no longer a problem because its fixed thanks to the constructor in solidity, I’m scared to say this but, maybe say goodbye to the fal1out level?
Please correct me if you think I did something wrong with the soidity version locally. Here I uploaded the 10 of 22 levels I did https://github.com/ianbrt/ethernauta (thanks @tinchoabbate your guide notonlyowner.com was SO helpulf).
Yeah I think this is going to happen eventually, I want to believe that sooner or later most of these attacks won't be possible. We can move them to a "museum" category or something like that.
@ajsantander what do you think?
I’d suggested Legacy/Historic for these types of levels.
Museum is a great name too.
The dream is that all of these attacks become historical.
