IT experience: Started programming in 1998 on IBM AS400 (rpgle, cl, db2). Stayed on AS400 until 2004, when I started to switch to web development. Javascript before jquery at that point, PHP, MYSQL, as well as Cold fusion (asp server pages) and jsp as well . Was certified in 2007 at Cal State University Fullerton in Java programming , but never got an enterprise Java job. Also taught myself C# and some .net along the way, but mainly javascript , php, and strong backend work with mysql and relational databases. Specialized in rets (real estate mls) development for a while, and obtained the nickname 'retsman'. I am also a Quora 'partner' and have been answering questions since they launched their website. I have like almost a million views to my answers almost 2000 upvotes and 83 shares from my given advice on topics related to my expertise. Finally, I am completing Kingsland University blockchain developer curriculum, in the final phases, and have been on my own version of the 'Bitcoin diet' - Antonopolus", and also including all I can learn about crypto development, smart contracts , solidity, Ethereum development , ERC20 token development and dapp development, React and Typescript, and all the boilerplates, dapp helpers, geth, ganache, truffle, hardhat, etc, etc, to the present day from about 2 and a half years until now . I am liking Moralis and Open Zeppelin a lot right now.
personal: I have been around a lot of different industries including corporate hq facilities and consulted on too many projects to list including other industries like Electrical , general contractor, and many other areas . I am a very useful dude. I try to be efficient as possible when helping on a project or doing it alone, and when asked for help, help in the way I am asked to do it, not going against the grain, unless I am the project manager and laying out the roadmap. I work very well with others and communicate very well with programming staff and end users and even upper management.
hobbies: I have been playing and performing music all my life, guitar, bass, and drums, and some music production for movies and commercials, etc is in the works. I also love to play chess and almost any sport.
My goal is to use my over 20 years of programming off and on and my current hard work and studying, school , projects, etc. to become a stellar blockchain rockstar, and work on cutting edge blockchain projects but I am willing to take on a junior blockchain developer/ full stack developer position or a position that is not senior dev , to prove what I am worth to the right company.
Also, ideally, to better humanity with blockchain and make the world a better place if I can along the way. If it hurts other people , then it isn't successful as far as I am concerned.
