Things to keep in mind for if you’re hiring developer to write smart contract for your project?

I been messing around with solidity from past 2 months and learned alot but still i think not ready to write down a bep20 token code for my project… and im right cuzn smart contracts handle million of dollars of real money and all works around smart contracts… so we made a decision about hiring one… just wanted to ask is it good idea to hire someone u dont know personally to write smart contracts for you? If yes what are the major things I should keep in mind ?

Emmm, I am not sure, but I think:

  • Do not pay first
  • Check permissions of all the functions
  • Check whether there is a back door
    Of course, all logic should be right.
