SafeMath.sol gas costs

Hi everyone.

This is my first post. Please let me know if the question should be asked somewhere else or if I violated some rule.

I want to ask if there was any work done on assessing the gas costs for SafeMath.sol.

My thinking is how much will using these methods increase in gas costs in the different evm environments

Hi, every time a new feature/contract is introduced there is a gas and security criteria that has to be met, but in regards to your question, is there a specific method you are curious about? Do you think there is a method that could be more gas efficient?
