# Gnosis Safe - Is there an app for managing roles?

I’m thinking about digging into [https://github.com/gnosis/safe-apps-sdk](https://github.com/gnosis/safe-apps-sdk) but don’t want to duplicate the effort.

Hi @marsxr,

I recommend trying out OpenZeppelin Defender: [https://docs.openzeppelin.com/defender/admin#custom-actions](https://docs.openzeppelin.com/defender/admin#custom-actions)

It is free to sign up:

There isn’t currently a dedicated action for Access Control so we need to use a custom action.
