Optimism Foundation will be conducting the Bedrock upgrade to their Goerli testnet this Thursday. Bedrock is a major upgrade to Optimism’s speed and L1 compatibility.
The Optimism Goerli testnet will not be able to accept transactions for roughly one hour beginning 10am PT on Thursday, January 12 while the Optimism team conducts the upgrade. Follow along on the live status of the upgrade here: status.optimism.io
Defender's third party json-rpc providers ( like alchemy, infura etc.. ) will be handling node upgrades during this time. Please avoiding sending Optimism Goerli transactions during this time. If you have questions or concerns please reach out to defender-support@openzeppelin.com.
