## Turn off Proof of Work 2021/2022

There is support for turning off proof of work, aka [the Merge](https://ethmerge.com/) in 2021, see [poll](https://twitter.com/drakefjustin/status/1379052831982956547). Though [Q1 2022](https://hackmd.io/@benjaminion/eth2_news/https%3A%2F%2Fhackmd.io%2F%40benjaminion%2Fwnie2_210410#The-Merge) might be more realistic.

## Gas costs after Berlin

Nice explanation of how access lists can be used to unbrick contracts bricked due to gas cost assumptions
