Bscscan Verify Problem

Hello guys,

I keep trying to verify my BSc contract but i can’t get it done, may someone of you help me out?
I created the Contract on ethereum.remix with that code:

pragma solidity ^0.8.0;

import "https://github.com/OpenZeppelin/openzeppelin-contracts/blob/master/contracts/token/ERC20/ERC20.sol";

contract HODL2 is ERC20 {
    constructor(uint256 initialSupply) ERC20 ("HODL2", "HDL2"){
        _mint(msg.sender, initialSupply);
    }
}

now, after multiple tries and days of research, i still stuck with the flatten code and i got this error:

Compiler debug log:
Error! Unable to generate Contract ByteCode and ABI (General Exception, unable to get compiled [bytecode])
For troubleshooting, you can try compiling your source code with the (/) and check for exceptions

Compiler Warning(s):

TypeError: Definition of base has to precede definition of derived contract → myc:39:29: | 39 | interface IERC20Metadata is IERC20 { | ^^^^^^

  • Compiler Version: v0.8.0+commit.c7dfd78e
  • Optimization Enabled: False
  • Runs: 200

ByteCode (what we are looking for) :
60806040523480156200001157600080fd5b50604051620018a8380380620018a8833981810160405281019062000037919062000321565b6040518060400160405280600581526020017f484f444c320000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000008152506040518060400160405280600481

would be glad if someone could explain me how to fix it and verify? Thanks a lot!

thats the flatten code:

 * @dev Implementation of the {IERC20} interface.
 *
 * This implementation is agnostic to the way tokens are created. This means
 * that a supply mechanism has to be added in a derived contract using {_mint}.
 * For a generic mechanism see {ERC20PresetMinterPauser}.
 *
 * TIP: For a detailed writeup see our guide
 * forum.zeppelin.solutions/t/how-to-implement-erc20-supply-mechanisms/226[How
 * to implement supply mechanisms].
 *
 * We have followed general OpenZeppelin guidelines: functions revert instead
 * of returning `false` on failure. This behavior is nonetheless conventional
 * and does not conflict with the expectations of ERC20 applications.
 *
 * Additionally, an {Approval} event is emitted on calls to {transferFrom}.
 * This allows applications to reconstruct the allowance for all accounts just
 * by listening to said events. Other implementations of the EIP may not emit
 * these events, as it isn't required by the specification.
 *
 * Finally, the non-standard {decreaseAllowance} and {increaseAllowance}
 * functions have been added to mitigate the well-known issues around setting
 * allowances. See {IERC20-approve}.

and heres the transaction hash of the creation:

Ok if it is a fork of HODL, MRAT or Ghostface you must add the library when verifying.

It should be created at the same time of the contract

it was just the first linked code not a fork of any of those tokens. thanks for your reply, do you have any other ideas?

did you try to set optimization to true?

yeah i tried it, looks like im missing something with the flatten code, i deleted all duplicated license like in the tutorial but i don’t get the next step

Hello I facing similar error. How did you fix yours ?

Hello, I figuerd out you can't use import links for your code, you have to flat your code with the flattener plugin on remix.ethereum, after that you have to delete the copied licenses between the lines, there's a tutorial how to do it exactly. Good luck!!

I have the same problem. What are the licenses to delete?
